Hostilities in Chechnya

A military motorcade was fired on Saturday morning in Grozny. As a result, one serviceman died and three more got wounded. Two people fired at the motorcade from a sub-machine-gun and a grenade launcher. Later they managed to escape. Russian special services had declared earlier that they had arrested the rebel commander Ruslan Iriekhanov. According to information of law enforcement agencies, Iriekhanov is accused of participation in the attack on the Gekhi-Chu settlement in August, 2002.
