Azerbaijan did not let family deported from Sweden in

Swedish migration authorities proved to be powerless in the negotiations with Azerbaijan authorities concerning the deportation of an Azerbaijan family from Sweden.

The family of two adults and three children was denied asylum in Sweden in the beginning of this month. After that it was decided to deport the family to Azerbaijan. Swedish policemen came to Baku along with the family. Nevertheless, after an hour of waiting in the airport they got a refusal from Azerbaijan frontier authorities let their citizens in the country. The whole group had to return to Sweden. Now the family of refugees is being kept under supervision in Malme.
