Police dispersed activists of youth movement "Kmara" once again

The police dispersed an anti-governmental protest rally of the youth movement "Kmara" ("Enough") in the western Georgian city of Poti on October 11.
The "Kmara" activists were beaten up by police; reportedly some of them got severe injuries.

The action of protest was held at the same time when President Shevardnadze visited Poti on the occasion of the city's jubilee.

On October 10 the police also prevented a "Kmara" protest rally in Tbilisi in front of the State Chancellery, while the government-backed election bloc "For New Georgia" was holding a presentation of its election platform.
