Public committees of refugees unite

Public committees of the tent camp "Satsita", former camp "Bella", and temporary accommodation centers situated in the Troitskaya village (MTF-1, MTF-2, and Energotsekh) met on October 7, 2003 to discuss their urgent problems. The participants decided to form the Union of IDPs' Public Committees, the aim of which will be the protection of displaced persons' rights. Writs against illegal actions of the Ingush Interior Ministry's Migration Department towards refugees living in GUP "Troitskaya" are already being prepared. These refugees were excluded from the migration service's database and they do not receive humanitarian aid as a result.
