Azerbaijan election commission declared Aliyev Jr. president elect

Ilkham Aliyev, 41, has won the presidential elections in Azerbaijan, the country's Central Election Commission announced Thursday.

"The majority voted for Aliyev Junior, so there will be no second round. Ilkham Aliyev is president now," the election commission's press secretary Azer Sariyev told a news conference in Baku Thursday.
