Congress of Caucasian people to be held in Vladikavkaz next year

President of North Osetia Aleksandr Dzasokhov signed the order to create the organizational committee that is to arrange a congress of Caucasian people in Vladikavkaz in 2004. The committee will work under the direction of North Osetian Prime Minister Mikhail Shatalov.

The decision was made as a result of the agreement reached about it by heads of the subjects of the South Federal district at a consultation in Rostov-on-Don on December 20. The date of the congress has not been finally settled yet.
