Azerbaijan intellectuals call to hold anti-Armenian actions of protest

A group of Azerbaijan intellectuals calls to hold an action of protest against Armenia's occupation of a part of the Azerbaijan territory, including Nagorny Karabakh. The action is expected to be held in cities of Azerbaijan and foreign countries on February 26.

"Proceeding form the situation that has arisen around the Karabakh problem, we appeal to the Azerbaijan state structures, all social and political structures, and compatriots abroad and call them to take active part in the preparation and holding of the action of protest against Armenia's occupation policy," reads the statement published in Baku on January 8.
