IS militants disseminate video with threats against Russia

The "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia by the court and recognized as a terrorist grouping, has disseminated a video calling for a jihad in Russia. The video posted on the Internet contains threats against Russian citizens and an appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the "Reuters" reports.

According to the "Reuters", the video was posted on YouTube. The video lasts for nine minutes: a voice with background of some people in desert speaks out threats against Russia.

The video begins with an appeal to Vladimir Putin, the "Reuters" reports. The agency notes that experts have not been able to determine the origin of the video. However, it is already known that it was published from an account on the messenger "Telegram".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in October 2015, the "Islamic State" (IS) declared a jihad against Russia. Then, a video was posted on the Internet, in which a member of the IS urged people to fight Russian armed forces and organize terror acts in the territory of the country.

Full text of the article is available on the Russian page of 24/7 Internet agency ‘Caucasian Knot’.
