Two policemen shot dead in Dagestan

Today, in the vicinity of the town of Izberbash, unidentified attackers shelled a squad of the road-and-patrol service (known as DPS). Two policemen were killed.

The incident was reported by the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). "The attackers fled, and the searches for them are underway," reports the Dagestani MIA' press service as quoted by the "TASS".

The attackers opened fire from a Ford Focus car passing by, the "Interfax" reports with a reference to a source from the regional law enforcement bodies.
