"Voters' Strike" in Rostov-on-Don was 200 people strong

Participants in the "Voters' Strike" in Rostov-on-Don have warned the authorities that they would not accept the dishonest elections.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today a number of Russian cities held actions in support of "Voters' Strike", whose participants call for a boycott of the upcoming Russian presidential election.

The rally in Rostov-on-Don was addressed not only by city residents, but also activists from other cities. The speakers said that the authorities had not left them a choice, but they will fight it.

"This power has left us no other choice. Until today, the ruling elite have not met such a powerful rebuff; but we are here, and we will give this rebuff!" one of the women from Rostov-on-Don said.

According to the police, the "Voters' Strike" in Rostov-on-Don was attended by more than 200 people, the website of the "Dozhd" (Rain) TV channel has reported.

"All went nicely; thanks to everyone who came. The goal of the rally has been achieved: we said everything we think about the election," says the message posted in the group "Rostov chooses a strike" in the social network "VKontakte".
