Abadzekhs

In the past they were one of the big Adyg tribes, now - the ethnographic group of the Adygs. They live in Shovgenovsky village of Shovgenovsky district of the Adygeya Republic. They speak the Abadzekh dialect of the Adyg language that is gradually replaced by the literary Adyg language.

Believers are Moslems-sunnits. Their traditional occupations are agriculture, cattle-breeding, horticulture.
