Court obliges Sochi resident to undergo compulsory medical treatment for disseminating fakes about Russian Army

The Central District Court of Sochi has ordered compulsory medical treatment for a local resident, against whom the law enforcement bodies instituted a criminal case for disseminating fakes about the Russian Armed Forces. The above was reported by the “OVD Info”* human rights project.

The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that on February 8, the court sent a resident of Novocherkassk to a mental hospital for calls for extremism. According to the investigators’ version, the resident of Novocherkassk wanted to join a terrorist organization and promoted its activities on a social network, but did not realize his actions because of insanity.
