Volgograd residents' comments in social media result in charges of supporting terrorism

Two residents of Volgograd have commented on the actions of Ukrainian militaries in the territories of the Belgorod and Bryansk Regions.

According to law enforcers, two Volgograd residents have posted their comments on a public video hosting site justifying the actions of Ukrainian militaries in the Belgorod and Bryansk Regions in March and May 2023, the press service of the regional branch of the FSB (Federal Security Service) has informed.

The Volgograd residents are accused of public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of or propaganda of terrorism. The suspects have been detained, the "Interfax" writes with reference to the FSB.
