Militia sergeant died in skirmish with separatists in Chechnya

Militia Sergeant Danilbek Kadiyev died in the Nozhay-Yurt region of Chechnya in a skirmish with separatists. It was reported at the republican Interior Ministry yesterday.

On August 10 about 10 soldiers of the Nozhay-Yurt Regional Internal Affairs Department entered into a fire with separatists while being on concealed patrol not far from the village of Sogunti. The ambush was made towards one of the groups of the Dagestan field commander Rappani Khalilov operating in that region.

According to the preliminary data, two separatists were annihilated during a transient fight.
