Abkhazian prime minister called on republican NGOs' representatives to cooperation

On September 12 Prime Minister of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba met with activists of regional non-government organizations. He told them about the main directions of the activity in the interior and foreign policy field, about concrete problems that the government solves. "NGOs have sizeable intellectual potential. You have work experience, and we should cooperate for the sake of our republic's prosperity", stressed the prime minister.

At the same time the prime minister holds "NGOs should be of principle deciding on foreign partners."

The third sector representatives, in their turn, raised questions concerning the work with young people, motherhood and childhood support, education, social aid, population's confidence in the authorities, openness of power structures' work.

The prime minister noted the profit of such meetings and exchange of opinions. He suggested meeting on a regular basis, not less than one time in a quarter.
