The decision of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) on the complaint of Barakh Chemurziev proves that innocent activists were convicted within the "Ingush case"; therefore, the ECtHR will make similar decisions on the statements of the other defendants, Chemurziev's advocates believe.

Alexander Gongadze Volny Ross, a Ukrainian citizen, who has served his sentence for organizing a wheelchair run in the town of Kamyshin, will be deported from Russia. He and his wife were fined for violating migration laws; and their deportation is expected next week despite the possibility of persecution in their homeland due to their pro-Russian position.

Vakhid Ilyasov's apologies for the incident on a Mariupol beach were caused by the pressure of Chechen authorities, while those from Ramzan Kadyrov's retinue rarely apologize for much more serious offences, analysts have pointed out, noting that not all incidents involving natives of Chechnya committed at resorts attract attention of republic's authorities.
