Law enforcers are trying to present the actions of Anapa residents as an unsanctioned rally, because they had recorded a video appeal to the Russian President, in which they complained that the administration of a local children's camp had blocked the beach with a fence, depriving people of access thereto. The camp director has explained that the fence was installed for security reasons.

The Supreme Court (SC) of Dagestan partially granted the claim filed by Magomed Magomedov, the deputy editor-in-chief of the Dagestani weekly newspaper “Chernovik” (Rough Draft), recognizing the law enforcers’ request to go to a police station and the detention of the journalist at the police department as illegal.

Referring to some state secrets, the Nalchik City Court in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) has refused to satisfy the lawsuit lodged by Olga Begretova, an activist, who demanded to illegitimate the refusal of the FSB (Russian Federal Security Service) to provide the data collected about her. She intends to appeal against the refusal.

A court supported artist Mukhadin Kishev in his dispute over the right to premises of an art house in Nalchik, because of which the artist’s spouse appealed to Ramzan Kadyrov. The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) recognized a 10-day arrest of Anastasia Panchenko, a former coordinator of the Alexei Navalny’s office in Krasnodar, for calling for participation in a rally as a violation of her rights. The ECtHR obliged the authorities of Russia to pay Anastasia Panchenko 5 000 euros.

A court in Shali has rejected the defence's motion to release Zarema Musaeva from the colony settlement for her health reasons.
