The court has sentenced Ilya Yuzhakov, a resident of the city of Tuapse, to three years of forced labour, finding him guilty of distributing fakes about the Russian Army. After the detention, law enforcers had forced Yuzhakov to record a video with “repentance".

The European Court of Human Rights has found that the rights of Faig Amirov, the former financial director of the “Azadlig” opposition newspaper, and Aytadj Tapdyg, a “Meydan TV” journalist, have been violated. The European Court has obliged the authorities of Azerbaijan to pay the journalists 14,500 euros in compensation.

A court in Gelendjik has found blogger Vadim Kharchenko* guilty of repeated discrediting the Russian Army, slander, insulting believers’ feelings, and calls for extremism, and sentenced him to seven years in penal colony. This was reported by the United Press Service of the Courts of the Krasnodar Territory in its Telegram channel.
