Last year, in the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria, one person fell victim of the ongoing armed conflict: he was killed. The number of victims fell by 93% as compared to 2016, when the number of killed and wounded people had amounted to 15. For more than 10 years, in an outskirt of Grozny, a secret oil refinery has been operating. It is situated at the exit from the Zavodskoy District of the city in the direction of the dwelling settlement of Andreevskaya Dolina.
